Job Type: Full-Time
Job Purpose: We are excited to welcome an accomplished Event Coordinator to our team. In this position, you will generate sales and receive inbound requests for our thriving fast-paced business. This role is customer-facing—requiring a warm, approachable demeanor in order to convert leads. Ideal candidates will have a strong sales background as well as restaurant industry experience. Proficiency in event management software is a must, Tripleseat is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Coordination
•Promote and sell our spaces to potential clients.
•Work hand in hand with the client and the operations team (culinary and FOH) to plan flawless execution.
•Utilize Tripleseat as the primary tool for communication and management of events.
•Build comprehensive Banquet Event Orders for the team to work off of.
Customer Engagement:
•Cultivate a welcoming and client-centric atmosphere.
•Develop and nurture strong client relationships for recurring events.
•Provide exceptional customer service to not only meet but exceed client expectations.
Venue Utilization:
•Optimize our private event space, dining areas, bar areas and outside spaces for social and corporate events.
•Assist clients in selecting the most suitable event space to meet their specific needs.
Sales and Commission:
•Enjoy a competitive base salary with the additional earnings through commissions (estimated split: 65%-35%).
•Increase your overall compensation through direct sales achievements.
Qualifications:
Experience:
• Proven track record in restaurant events.
• Experience in restaurant operations is a must.
•Lead Generation: prior experience in lead generation for events.
•Software Proficiency: Familiarity with event management software, preferably Tripleseat.
