Job Purpose: We are excited to welcome an accomplished Events Manager to our team. In this position, you will utilize your network of local contacts to generate banquet event sales for our thriving fast-paced business. This role is customer-facing—requiring a warm, approachable demeanor in order to generate leads for events. Ideal candidates will have a strong standing in the community and be familiar with the idiosyncrasies of the Georgetown area. Proficiency in event management software is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Event Sales and Management:
•Promote and sell our exceptional event spaces to potential clients.
•Oversee all aspects of event planning and assist in their execution.
•Utilize Tripleseat as the primary tool for communication and management of events.
•Collaborate closely with our culinary and service teams to ensure seamless events.
Customer Engagement:
•Cultivate a welcoming and client-centric atmosphere.
•Develop and nurture strong client relationships.
•Provide exceptional customer service to not only meet but exceed client expectations.

Venue Utilization:
•Optimize the utilization of our private event space, balcony, and upstairs dining room and bar areas for social and corporate events.
•Assist clients in selecting the most suitable event space to meet their specific needs.
Sales and Commission:
•Enjoy a competitive base salary with the potential for additional earnings through commissions (estimated split: 65%-35%).
•Increase your overall compensation through direct sales achievements.

Qualifications:
Experience:
• Proven track record in event sales in Georgetown
• Customer Service: exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and personable demeanor.
•Lead Generation: prior experience in lead generation for events.
•Software Proficiency: Familiarity with event management software, preferably Tripleseat.
