Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team, responsible for managing daily financial operations for multiple restaurants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of daily restaurant financial transactions, accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, financial records, A/P and A/R, and various reports efficiently. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our restaurant operations.
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team, responsible for managing daily financial operations for multiple restaurants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of daily restaurant financial transactions, accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, financial records, A/P and A/R, and various reports efficiently. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our restaurant operations.
Responsibilities Include
- Bill pays
- Entering Invoices
- Filing sales tax and mixed beverage tax
- Intercompany bank transfers between outlets
- Journal entries for accruals, banking transfers, other transactions
- Estimated credit card charges
- Aging reports
- Bill outs for payroll and store level expenses paid by Veneto
- Workers compensation report filings
- Work directly with teams at each restaurant to resolve accounting issues and improve process.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with R365, Toast, OpenTable, and TripleSeat preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
